You could also just try maybe a clip or bobby pin (depending on how much you toss :P to keep the hair off your forehead? Or don't bun up all of it, just the front, like a half-up with just the hair that seems to be touching you.

Some parts of the year I find I have to wash my pillowcases more to avoid extra pimples. Alas, it seems I now get them around ovulation AND the normal PMS kind, because changing the pillowcase hasn't helped. Argh.

You haven't changed hair products, have you, just now you've got bangs laying where there were none before?

@redeyedtreefr0g: yes I'm worried a bun may leave me with a raging headache from the weight!

I'll braid it the next few nights & see if that helps clear my skin up...thanks ladies!

I roll my hair around my finger for a low flat bun at the nape, then I take a rectangular scarf to hold the bun in place. I tie it like the "We Can Do It" poster. My hair is styled straight but will have a slight wave or two of the bun is tight.

My hair stays loose until it hits about waist length. I might start loose braids after that. I don't usually have trouble with hubby being on it.

As a child Grandma made us sleep caps to match a nightgown once.

Or, you could loose bun it up top with a fluffy scrunchy- no bare elastics, I think the friction would break hair too easily. Mine would never stay and the weight would bug me, but if it works for you :P

My twin slept with a regular cinnamon bun at the back of her head for ages before she gave up long hair. She slept on her side so it never bothered her.

Big velvet scrunchie for a twisted bun on top of my head. It's awesome for sleeping with no hair in your or DH's face too.

This is what I own a big ugly scrunchie for. If I use an elastic or anything else, it twists sand crinkles and I need to curl/flatiron or wash to look normal the next day.

My hair never looks good on day 2 regardless but my best chance of it not looking awful is just a normal twisted bun on the very top of my head.

Do you put your hair up when you go to bed? Any good ways to put it up without creasing or roughing up any styling too much? I wash every 4 to 6 days but recently added a bit more of a side bang & have noticed some breakout on my forehead so I'm hoping maybe putting it all up at night would help fix this.
