that's insane. 4 months is a classic sleep regression. I just wrote a post as I was up every 45 minutes last night (yay!)

So even though LMW is sleeping for good chunks of time at night and only waking up for one feeding, her bedtime is ALL over the place.

Friday night: we put her down around 6pm as usual, and she woke screaming every 5 minutes a few times, then every 30 mins, until she was FINALLY down for the night at 10:45pm. She slept for 6.5 hrs, woke for a feeding at 5am, then slept another 4.5 hours and woke up at 10am (!!).

Saturday night: we were out and about and she took a late nap in the stroller (after FREAKING OUT when we entered the mall at 3:30pm) and when we got home, she seemed happy and wide awake, so we delayed her bedtime a bit. After waking screaming just twice (every 5 mins), she was down for the night at 8:40pm. She then slept for 8.5 hrs (!!), woke for a feeding at 5am, was back asleep by 6am for another 3 hours and was up at 9am.

Tonight: After a day of crappy naps (and FREAKING out after entering church), we put her down for a nap at 4:45pm and it seems like she is out for the night...!! Every nap these 3 days has been just 30 mins, but she's been asleep for 2.5 hours now. She has woken crying a few times but falls back asleep. She woke crying and wouldn't stop, so I went up and rocked her. She never opened her eyes, and after I put some baby Orajel on her teeth she fell back asleep.

So let's recap the last 3 bedtimes:
10:45pm
8:40pm
4:45pm ...!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine what the heck is going on. I'm huge into schedules so I am really kinda freaked out by this!! Anyone else's baby have crazy varying bedtimes and wakeup times?? She's 4 months old next week, and she's teething (the first tooth is about to break thru, I think).
