We do the thicker baby deedee sleep sack with a fleece footie PJ and LO is toasty warm in the mornings. We keep our house around 68 in the winter and have pretty drafty windows.

DD is 2 months old so we still use the Halo swaddle sleep sack. She seems to be warm enough.

@Freckles: Right now D1 is able to stay under her covers so is fairly warm - sometimes her feet are a bit cold in the morning. D2 is currently in a Baby Merlin Magic suit and it keeps her super warm except for her hands. Her hands get cold so I've had to put socks over them.

The deedee is warm enough for us in Toronto throughout the winter months. In your case, I would kick up the heater a degree and see what it does.

DD's nursery is also quite cold (usually 63 at its coldest). We dress her in socks and a onesie under fleece/velour footed PJs + a Baby DeeDee sleep sack. If I dress her cooler (i.e., without the onesie), she wakes up earlier.

We put a onesie, fleece pajamas and TWO sleep sacks on her. It's only 63/64 upstairs in our old, drafty house. She wakes up warm all the time though. We also put a small blanket in there but it never stays on long.

LO's nursery is the coldest room in the house. We have a vornado space heater we use, but there's also a draft from the window. He sleeps in a fleece footie (plus a cotton sleeper sometimes) because he runs hot... our monitor is mounted high up near the ceiling and always reads around 72, but it always feels cooler.

our heating system doesn't work that well in the nursery, so LO's room gets quite cold. the main thing we do is use this space heater, which i like because it's cool to the touch and compact, and not as scary as some space heaters i've used in the past:
http://www.amazon.com/Vornado-Whole-Panel-Vortex-Heater/dp/B004Q19T74/ref=sr_1_6?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1388684212&sr=1-6

in addition, we dress LO in footed pj's and a sleepsack.

We do fleece footed PJs under either a cotton sleep sack or a fleece sleep sack. I try to keep M's room 68-70, but sometimes it's a little warmer than that.

I put a short sleeved onesie and footed fleece jammies on her now. She is nice and toasty in the morning without a blanket.
The bedroom level is at 68 but I always think her room feels cooler.

LO is warm blooded btu her room does get cool, so we heat her room up with a space heater before we go to bed and shut it off, and keep the door shut to keep the heat in. She sleeps in fleece PJS with a onsie underneath and a blanket. I've tried socks but she always tries to pull them off. She sleeps thru the night, so even though her toes seem cold to me in the mronings, it doesn't seem to bother her.

I have a temperature controlled space heater set at 20/68 because when i raise it to 21, her room jumps to 74.

Two nights ago i tried putting her in fleece pajamas with socks and a short onesie underneath but when i got her in the morning, her legs were cool to the touch. I put a blanket over her, but it ends up getting rolled up in a bunch.

Last night i put her back in a cotton footed pj (onesie underneath) with a babydeedee sleepsack, but again she was pretty cool to the touch in the morning.

I wonder if this is what's causing her to wake up earlier? Any suggestions? Should i just raise the temperature? Layer her up more? Her room has been a bit cool in the mornings.
