It's one of my favourites, but DH isn't keen so we hardly ever go! There is a multi storey at Grand Arcade right in the centre, close to Nando's but it is pretty expensive on the weekend, like maybe £10-15 for a few hours, so I'll get the park &amp; ride in which drops off right by there anyway. Most of your journeys will be on motorways and A roads anyway - so long, straight roads! Just stay in the left hand lane (the "slow lane") and go nice and steady until you're feeling more confident! </p> <p>Get some green P plates if you want -they're like the red L plates for learners but they're a green P. You stick them on your car, front and back, and they mean that you've just passed your test! The idea is to alert other drivers to be a little more considerate and forgiving of any mistakes you make.
