It's stupid easy and you don't need a pattern. Just use the pillow to trace out a rectangle and sew on 3 sides. Use another pillowcase as a template. Put it on the sheet and cut out 1/2 bigger than the pillowcase. (Twice). I would even put the open part of the pillowcase along the top edge of the sheet so that you'd already have that finished and wouldn't have to do that side. You just measure how big it needs to be, and cut a rectangle with twice the width, plus a little extra for seams and pillow thickness. It should also be 2-3" longer than the pillow so it folds over on the side where it stays open. I really could care less about having one sheet so I thought I might be able to turn it into one or two pillowcases for a single bed. Do you have any tips or a pattern you follow when you make pillowcases? Have you ever made them out of a sheet? It's twin sized. </p>
