My sister is in the process of selling one place and trying to buy another and it makes me glad I'm a renter and can move when I want to. We never set up a "nursery" so it would be an easy move. </p> <p>We own our current place and are going to rent the new place. DH are over home ownership and want the flexibility to pick up and move if we have to. And does the baby have her own room in your current house, would she in the new house? If it's all going to be the same set up, just closer to where you need to live, I would say now. That way you can set up the baby's room how you want it now and now feel like you are setting stuff up, only to undo it later on. Plus I do think moving would be a lot easier now than later.
