@Zbug: Hi Zbug, sorry to hear of your loss. This is our first month trying. Our first dr. said we should wait 2 cycles, but everything was so weird, I don't know if we really did that. The dr. I'm seeing now said we could start after 1 "normal" cycle, which is I guess what I've had. About 5 weeks after my d&c, I had a week of spotting. Two weeks later, I had a heavy period for two weeks. I think I ovulated 1 week later, but then another period came 1 week after that. But, that period was normal (re: 7 days & not too heavy). So, I guess I've had two periods, even though they weren't both normal in length and the second period started only 2 weeks after the first. Since getting that second period, though, my cycles been acting more normal. I usually have longish cycles, so I think it was normal for me to ovulate as late as I did. At least I hope it is! I hope that helps. And, I hope everything regulates for you soon! I find it so hard for everything to be out of whack because it's just a reminder of the miscarriage.

Thanks @avioll01 - I'm about to finish my current book and I think diving into a new one is a good idea.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you, @shantuck! I have totally gotten sucked into the googling thing and am trying my darndest not to do that this time. It's so hard!

I'm in the same boat. Miscarried naturally on 6/23 at 7 weeks and got the clear from my doctor's office within a couple weeks. I haven't actually gotten my first AF post-miscarriage but am already trying again and it looks like I ovulated on 7/13. I know I shouldn't have high hopes for the post-miscarriage cycle but I've been cramping on and off yesterday and today (7 and 8 dpo). I was doing ok not thinking about the TWW until the cramping hit. I've been googling the difference between corpus luteum cyst pain and implantation cramping all afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had my D&C in March and started TTC in May. For me, just keeping busy helped pass the TWW. Maybe pickup a new hobby or if you're a reader, a new book? Good luck!

@poppygirl15: I don't have any advice, but I want to wish you good luck!

I had a d&c a few weeks ago, so I will be in your position soon. if you don't mind me asking, did you start trying before this month? We are going to start again after AF, but I'm a little worried about how long it will take my cycle to regulate.

Hello! I miscarried in April and had a d&c. Periods were all over the place at first, but seemed like I had a normal one from 7/1-7/7. I've been charting and using an OPK (actually used two brands because I wanted to see if the cheapie a from the Internet really worked - I know, I'm crazy). OPK from Target was positive on 7/18 and both were positive on 7/19. My temp dipped 7/18 and then rose the next two days, and spiked up today. We'd BD every other day on leading up to the pos. OPK and then BD on 7/18 & 7/19. We probably should have yesterday, too, but I just could summon the energy or enthusiasm (plus, I was a little annoyed at DH about other things). I hope i didn't mess up our chances for this cycle. Just looking for support & ideas for how to get through TWW without going crazy!
