LO1 just wants to be left alone, laying down somewhere with his lovey, preferably with the TV on. LO2 is whiny and would like to be draped over me all day.

She is a beast. I've been losing my mind this week, but it turned out she had an ear infection. But dear lord, tantrums, defiance, whining... Ugh. It's a little easier to keep my patience now that I know she has an ear infection- and that the antibiotics should kick in by tomorrow morning!

does your LO act out/whine/etc when they're sick? My kids - 1 and 3 - are both sick with a cold right now. All things considered, not a bad cold..just noses. My 3 year old has been soooo whiny and yesterday I was just tapped out..but I kept my patience for the most part because I knew she didn't feel well. However when she tried to throw a tissue at me because she wanted a boogie wipe I got really irritated and made her pick it up (I had to count to 2..agh). My husband yelled at one point because he was so fed up..he does not have as much patience!
