I didn't realize how high my sleep needs were until I had a kid. Now that he's two and they are so few and far between I don't mind the extra snuggle. But months 0-6 I was PISSED. </p> <p>I think for me it's his lack of patience - asking for something (cheese, fruit, etc), I say ok, and as I'm cutting it into cubes he is crying and asking over and over for cheese. Dude, do you not see what I am doing? Or when something needs to be microwaved or toasted, he gets so worked up. </p> <p>And this doesn't happen as often, because I've wised up, but often enough - I fold a basket of clothes and he just starts ripping them all out and throwing them.
