He would cry, hold his breath for SO LONG that he would turn purple and pass out. It freaked me out the first time it happened and I totally forgot how to do CPR. Luckily as I lay him flat on the floor he just woke up by himself. I spent a lot of time trying different methods of sleep training (like every method I've ever read about). She had sucked her two fingers from infancy and she was still sucking her fingers at home/night at 4 years old. One day she went to a birthday party and got her nails done. She wanted to keep the polish on as long as possible so she didn't suck her fingers for an entire week. She would repeat words over and over and get stuck on certain letters. We ignored the problem (as instructed by our pediatrician) and it went away. </p>
