I used the Bella Band and LOVED it. I used it until I couldn't put my pants over my hips, which meant that there was a point when my pants were fully unzipped and I had to pray that the BellaBand wouldn't flip to expose my undies!

I did the belly belts. They just fasten to your buttons and extend the waist of your pants without adding layers.

I didn't like them either. I lived in dresses and tights/leggings when I was pregnant.

They never worked for me...it just made me uncomfortable. Instead I got some of the "bellow the belly" jeans from Forever 21. They're SUPER cheap (like, less than $15 for some styles) and you can get them online if you don't have a forever 21 with a maternity section near you.

@cyndistar3: if the be band doesn't work, you can use a hair tie for the time being.
knot the hair tie through the button hole. then hook the end of the hair tie around the button.. does that make sense?

I will definitely try folding it!

Omg I cannot wait til I can wear actual maternity clothes again! So comfortable!

I'm fairly certain I got the right size, I went by the chart.

I had that problem too. My pants would always fall down! I just ended up wearing elastic skirts until I hit my 12 weeks when I sucked it up and bought maternity pants.

Lots of people don't like to buy maternity clothes early, but as Mrs. Bee recently said in one of her blogs, it's smart because than you get to wear them longer!

Be Band's worked really well for me. Did you get the right size? You might need something smaller/tighter?

I never had any luck with them either, I just went to maternity pants, because I realized I preferred the feeling of having my belly completely covered.

Try folding it a few times over your open pants to create more of a "belt" than a panel.

I found the Bella Band really started to work for me when I got into Maternity Clothing, I use it when I wear anything without a built in panel. It keeps things up & nice and smooth!

So I am about 9 weeks and just invested in a "be band" from target.... I don't know if I am doing it wrong or something but it just isnt working. The only thing it accomplishes is making me look like im wearing layers. Is there a point where it actually works? My pants wont stay up and its pretty obvious my pants are unbuttoned. Is there a better one out there?
