My friend's daughter has been there for almost a year and she said they usually never leave a note or anything informing parents of changes.</p> <p>Actually when I showed up yesterday, the two little babies that were still there WERE on the Infant 1 side, but I think they were there just to be "out of the way" of the Infant 2 teacher. It is a bummer when a favorite teacher leaves though. I would definitely bring up your concerns about the two infant groups being together because that could be a safety concern; especially if the one teacher isn't very observant. So I got NO information from her. I was kind of annoyed at her attitude too - it felt like she wasn't sorry that my fave teacher was gone AT ALL. Then I asked how Xander has been since she's been gone since he LOVED her so much, and it felt like she got defensive! She said "He's been fine! We ALL took care of him, so he knows us!" I wanted to be like "Yeah, I know, but he LOVED her - he doesn't LOVE you!" And THEN I asked if she had the teacher's contact information at all and her response was: "Why? Why do you want to contact her?" He's supposed to be with the Infant 1s (Infant 1 and Infant 2 are the same room, but separated by a barrier so the mobile babies (toddles actually I guess) and the non-mobile babies aren't together. So once he's mobile, he'll just move over to the Infant 2 side and still be in the same room with the same teachers.</p> <p>When our teacher was there, she was JUST the Infant 1 teacher. There's another teacher that is JUST the Infant 2 teacher. Then I think there's another teacher that helps out both sides. Now that our teacher is gone, I see the Infant 2 teacher and the helper teacher have ALL the babies on the Infant 2 side (this is just what I see when I pick up Xander at the end of the day). I'm concerned that they keep all the babies on the Infant 2 side all day instead of utilizing the Infant 1 side, especially because the Infant 1 side has all the toys specific to their age (activity mats, boppies, exersaucers, swings, etc.). I'll have to ask tonight if they usually are kept to their specific side and only just combine at the end of the day... </p>
