I am also going to say that you may have DR, but part of it could be exaggerated by your posture. I also have a belly after having a baby (short torso, so baby was all out front), it didn't really start going down until well after she was a year old, I weaned, and I started doing strength training.

Also, mine has gotten better after several years post-partum (my twins will be 3 in June)! I think there's a significant difference in how I looked two years ago when they were almost one versus how I look now at almost-3, so don't give up hope yet!

I look like this too. It's because I have diastasis, where my abdominal muscles have separated. I actually did Physical Therapy to help strengthen and connect them again, which did help somewhat but unfortunately, the only thing that really fixes it is a surgery :(

As others have commented, diastasis recti seems very likely. I have a couple finger-width diastasis recti after two kids close together, both carried out front.

Diastasis recti can also be associated with some other functional issues (not just cosmetic), so--if you can swing it--it definitely seems like a good idea to talk to your doctor about it and potentially seek out a physical therapist with expertise in this area.

I spent a decent amount of time reading about it online, and I was somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of sometimes contradictory information. I've been doing the exercises in the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxz0A9EyvWc&feature=youtu.be
They seemed to reflect "best practices" information that I could find, and they are easy/fast enough to do that I actually do them occasionally :)

My SIL has diastasis recti and went to physical therapy to help correct it. She wore one of those belly wrap/supports too. FWIW, you don't look pregnant! I think mamas just get a little tummy.

Ugh I'm sorry, mama - this is probably not something diet can fix (agree it's likely diastasis recti). My coworkers has the same issue and told me "that's why they make Spanx". :)

No advice because I don't exercise or diet but I wanted to let you know I looked the same way after baby #2. I am very skinny everywhere else so my belly just felt magnified! I would constantly have people asking me if I was pregnant when I wasn't. It stinks. I did have pretty large babies too. I am due shortly with baby #3 and I don't even want to know what I'm going to look like. I'm thinking of getting the Bellefit. Anyways, I'm rambling and offering no real advice but wanted to commiserate with you. Some days I feel very self conscious and other days I am okay with it because I feel lucky to have the ability to carry children and have come to terms with the fact that that means my baby is changed.

I think you have Diastasis Recti, unfortunately. Just like I do. It's most common with those of us who carry right out front. Do you have a gap between your abs when you lay down and lift your head up? If that doesn't make sense, Google it - there are videos out there to help you diagnose it and also lots of info on ways to help it with certain kinds of exercise. Unfortunately traditional ab exercises do more harm than good if you have DR.

So I thought I was "lucky" that I carried both my kids straight out in front - all belly, didn't look pregnant from behind, etc. Now 10 months pp with #2, I'm not so sure  I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight and overall very thin (underweight according to BMI). But I still look pregnant! I know that's partly because I'm thin everywhere else, so it literally "sticks out," but it's driving me crazy. I'd like to avoid any type of crazy diet, especially since I'm still nursing. But are there any exercises in particular I should be doing to try to bring my belly back down to scale with the rest of me?!
