For a longer vacation, I'd prefer to stay in San Francisco or Oakland, but both are fairly accessible from Berkeley if you want to do something elsewhere.<br /> There are plenty of really good food options around Berkeley proper. I found a cool Airbnb in Berkeley, about 3 hours away from us. Is Berkeley a fun place to visit for two nights?</p> <p> It will be our first trip away without kids since LO2 was born (he will be 18 months old at the time). We are mainly looking to hang out, eat some good food, drink some cocktails, and sleep in (LO2 still does not sleep through the night :crying: ). </p>
