@daniellemybelle: then it's possible she has a mild allergy. Berries are a common allergen. Because of M's history of intolerances we held off on all berries until 12 months at which point she did fine with them.

@Mrs. Sunshine: good to know!

@MamaMoose: This is the first kind of berries she's tried. It was such a small amount though - maybe 1 oz max of pears/raspberries mixed, stirred into baby oatmeal.

Berries are very acidic so if she doesn't have other kinds of berries often then it's very possible that they upset her tummy.

I am trying to figure out if LO is not a fan of berries (raspberries) or if it's that we have been slowly transitioning to different formula. She had pears & raspberries (jarred) with oatmeal for breakfast & was markedly more gassy & spitty all day (though she is a normally gassy/spitty girl). Raspberries were the only new thing. Her poops were pretty normal. She was also more fussy but I think it could be that we had a busy weekend. Her eczema flared up some too but that also happens randomly.

Is it possible that berries just upset her tummy? Is that a thing? You usually only hear of allergic reactions vs gas/spit-up.
