I have fewer wet sheet issues with the CVS brand of GoodNites. And we do a bonus potty trip right before lights out, after stories and snuggles.

@corduroy I have some of the diaper pads at home, we occasionally use them with my 21 month old, so I'll try that tonight and see if it helps. Hate changing wet sheets in the morning.

@MrsADS: I don't have any recommendations but I'm in the same boat with my 4.5yo. We just switched to Goodnights but it didn't solve the issue.

Bump! I ordered size XS Goodnites and unfortunately we're still having leaks!

Should I size up? Or use one of those diaper pad inserters?

FYI he's 38 lbs.

The store brand version at both Target and CVS are just as absorbent as GoodNites and less problematic for my kid with sensitive skin. Also cheaper!!

Related question: would you get size XS or size S for a 4.5 yo who weighs about 37-38 lbs, about 43-44 inches tall?

Thanks all! Sounds like it's time to make the switch. For some reason I thought he was too little for Goodnights/underjams, but it sounds like probably not.

I second the good nites rec! My 3 year old will soak through pull-ups every single time but has only leaked through good nites once ever.

My DD is five, very tall, and relatively thin. We have used underjams since she was 4ish. She wakes up soaked 90% of the time but they very, very rarely leak. Maybe once a month or so.

My son is 4.5 and still wakes up soaked. We're not ready to tackle nighttime potty training, and he's clearly not ready, so I'm not pushing it.

He usually sleeps in a pull-up (size 4T-5T). He has been waking up with wet sheets a couple nights a week - I think the pull-up is getting a little small.

Any recommendations at this point? Should we move to Underjams, or whatever they are called? Are they absorbent enough? He's very tall and skinny.
