Now at 20 months, they can do it all themselves and have all of the animals behind the doors memorized :) I like that it helps teach colors, numbers, and animals too so it's a multipurpose toy. She likes to carry it around and open the little doors once the latches are open, but she can't do the latches yet. I bet 21 months would be a much better age. She only now at age 2 can do a lot of the latches.
