Best gift ever wasn't for our anniversary but for his first Father's Day I did a boudoir photo shoot and wrote happy Father's Day... You're an amazing father but will always be my husband first. And I also surprised him with a Father's Day outing the Saturday before with all his other friends for paintballing lunch and beers. Sunday were gifts from DD and I cooked him breakfast. Us moms definitely did it big for their first father days ahahhah. Normally it's not this thought out or extravagant. I did a Brietling watch he was eyeing for his 31st birthday only because he was about to have no birthdays because our son was born a day before his birthday a hahahha.

Normally dinner, card, something he needs and something fun for him to enjoy. :)

We usually do trips or go to new restaurants, etc. instead of gifts. My DH is impossible to shop for too!

We go on a trip en lieu of gifts. You could tell him to pack a bag with a swimsuit and nice clothes for dinner and take him to a nice hotel overnight?

DH is a huge Red Sox fan, so I usually get us baseball tickets. He's also more into "experience"-type gifts, so I don't think I've gotten him a single gift-gift since we've been together! Things he's liked are sporting events, nice dinners out, wine tasting class and a private martial arts class (from his brother for his bachelor party).

If we had the money, something I'd LOVE to do someday is gift him with quality time with a person or people he doesn't get to see often. Maybe I'd fly in an old friend or two of his, and we'd all spend an evening hanging out together.

Let us know what you decide to do!

I do more experiences and activities for DH too.. We are both the kind of people that just buy what we want (within reason of course).

We always go out for our anniversary--we're more of an experience than a gift couple--but I got him a really nice watch for his 30th a few years ago that he truly loves (it's orange and stainless steel) and wears every day (plus, points for practicality)

I think it was when I took him skydiving. I think experience gifts are usually good because you can enjoy it together - what about wine tasting, concert, cooking class?...

My DH is into rustic looking signs, so I got him one with the family name and established our wedding date. He loved it!

My DH is sooooo hard to shop for and our 3rd anniversary is next week. No ideas whatsoever. He doesn't have any hobbies, isn't into fashion and isn't sentimental (like wouldn't appreciate photos or something from our wedding.) He'd love tickets to a basketball game I'm sure but since it's playoffs they're like $600 and... no... What have you gotten your DH that he loved?
