It's so amazing! DH and I make a day trip of it by driving to Fredericksburg and shopping, going wine tasting, looking at bluebonnet in the spring, etc. Then we head up to Llano for BBQ. Then we go to Bluebonnet cafe in Marble Falls for the best. pie. ever. Omg, so good. We spent a day in Lockhart and had BBQ at each meal, lol. When we went to Franklin's we got lucky! We only waited about 45ish minutes. It was soooooo worth it.
