@LemonLong: I don't keep them in my purse, but use the other tons of cloth bibs we have for on the go. I really wish I would have learned to use these better when LO was younger. It would have saved some of the early bib headaches. Once I read the care instructions carefully, I was shocked how these things could make life so much easier. Next thing I knew, I they were in the washer, clean, and ready for LO.

@cascademom: we use these too. Love them! They scrunch up small, so I keep one in my purse in case we stop somewhere for food.

We use a Baby Bjorn bib for our 13.5 mo old. She's learned to look in the pocket for a second helping  We only own one bib for her, and I just rinse it between meals/snacks and toss it in the top rack of the dishwasher at night.

These are my favorites: http://www.amazon.com/Bumkins-3-Pack-Waterproof-SuperBib/dp/B000GJIE4E We can get them super dirty, throw them in the washer, hang dry. I stopped using other bibs after I figured out that I could wash these. Love, love them.

Tommee Tippee ones here too! They've actually stained just a little with red sauce, but they obviously still work, and I really like them. Her neck is still a little too skinny, even on the tightest option, but she will grow into it. I always use a bib, because Sadie is messy, and her seat straps will get disgusting!

I use the JJ Cole ones. I wash them nightly with just dish soap (which helps a lot with the grease) if they don't make a mess of it during the day time and wipe them with a dish towel and hang on the oven handle. They dry really fast too. They are the only ones my kids can't rip off. Haha! That was my main issue with most bibs with velcro.

I use the shirt bibs from IKEA. You'll need to roll up the sleeves but they work great.

@lilyann: does your toddler try to rip them off? My LO's new thing is ripping off her bib but she's not quite strong enough so she ends up tearing up her neck!

None. If we're eating messy, I generally just strip her shirt off. I stopped using them sometime between 12-15 months.

She's gotten really good at not making a mess of herself.

LO is 16 months and in need of new bibs, hers are falling apart. We have the ones that you can wipe off but they still get gross and stinky even though I throw them in the wash now and then. What bibs does your toddler use?
