You just measure the windows and buy the correct size. I didn't want to mess around with trimming anything. I seriously love them. We have them in our bedroom, the nursery and guest room. We live in the city with bright street lights shining into our windows and these make the room pitch black. You can customize it and find a cute print to match your nursery.<br /> That's what I did. Though, I did not know the quality part until I started looking into DYIing my own. </p> <p>I do have Amazon blackout curtain and I'm looking at it now and it does suck. They are essentially black construction paper folded accordion style but when applied right her room is pitch black. Its amazing. Plus they block out cold/heat.
