Dr. Browns worked for us, love it-not loving all the parts I need to wash though.

I started with the medela bottles that came with my pump and since he took them with no problem, we just never switched

We use the Medela Calma as well. He's 1 month old and I have been supplementing him with 1/2 oz pumped milk after feedings and he goes back and forth from bottle to breast like a champ. He did show some signs of nipple confusion early on when I used the nipple guard for a few days and then tried to stop, but it didn't last long.

My sister used the Breastflow bottles for her baby and loved them though.

With wagon jr. We used playtex nursery with drop ins. This time around we're using the medela bottles... Skips a step of pouring from the medela bottle into the drop in!

We use Medela Calma. It's supposed to be a one-size all-you-need nipple and so far it is all we have used. He's not too keen on the bottles but seems to accept them as long as the milk is really warm. We recently tried 2 other nipples and he would have nothing to do with them.

@Thehistoryofus: I actually had to get the faster flow nipples because he was getting frustrated - I also think that's why he hated the Breastflow bottles, too - and when we finally were able to transition to Tommee Tippee I had to get their Level 3 right away. I either have a more forceful letdown than I think or my kid's just finicky, haha

If you haven't tried MAM, definitely give them a shot. They are inexpensive enough they won't break the bank and they are great for breastfed babies as well as for cleaning!

@rachiecakes: Yes, we mostly used the medela bottles too. I just made sure to always use the slowest flow.

I used these bottles with DS after hearing that they were great for breastfed babies. The issue I ran into with these bottles was with the double nipple. There is an inner nipple made out of harder plastic and an outer nipple made of soft rubber. I had issues with the harder inner nipple cracking around the opening. They had only ever been handwashed and each bottle was used at most once every other day for 2-3 months. I thought that was pretty fast to have to replace the nipples.

The company sent me replacements though, but we changed bottles once I stopped nursing/pumping.

I bought these and Tommee Tippee bottles for DS because of the awesome recommendations from other BFing moms but DS totally rejected them until about 5 months old. He took the Medela bottles right away though.

I saw that the Breastflow bottles are on sale at Woot today.

http://kids.woot.com/plus/everything-but-the-boy-or-girl-1

My LC recommended them for our EBF baby going to daycare. I have to say I did like them!
