@Silva: I LOVE Disney onesies! Especially with the two rows of snaps. They're prefect for my skinny, cloth diapered child.

@emg86: amazon carries Disney brand. We also ordered some from the site called rock bottom tees, by the brand rabbit skins. They are all great! I was surprised by the Disney ones, they were really cheap and seem very high quality. The bees helped me out big time!

Gymboree and Gap have treated us well used. Carter's is okay for used "play" clothes, if you can find it super cheap.

Ralph Lauren, Janie and jack, Gymboree, gap.

Carter's is one season wear for us, which is fine, but I wouldn't consider it quality.

@Silva: oh. Man. I LOVE mini boden! Great quality and generous cuts. My 15 month old is still wearing her 6-12 no dresses and will be able to wear them into next spring, probably (as tunics)

Baby gap holds up really well. Guess as well. Carter's seems to wear our and colors fade.

I get a lot of Carter's and it's all practically brand new, but they are overly picky about what they accept so maybe that's why? I do buy some Gap, Children's Place and Old Navy too.

@Weagle: I haven't scored any mini boden stuff yet....but I did order some stuff from their last big sale. I love their new fall line but am forcing myself to wait. That sweater jacket with the ears kills me.

I am on a spending freeze because I just bought 10 solid color onesies. But when it lifts, I'm looking forward to a trip to our local thrift shop.

What are your favorite brands / pieces to get second hand and what do you avoid?

We have a huge zutano selection, and their stuff holds up really well. I've also gotten some great deals on some Hanna Anderson sleepers. Baby gap stuff seems to be good, too. I found a lot of the onesies I got (Carter's) had stretches out necks, but the gap one I have seemed to hold up well.
