We chose the Maxi Cosi Pria and it's been great. He's still comfortably rear-facing in it at 26 months. He will be able to use that seat for many years to come. Definitely no bells and whistles in that thing, but it is a safe seat, light and easy to install and remove. I bought a second cheap car seat for Grandpa's car, and I HATE.IT. Or get her a convertible so we don't both have to switch? What makes the most sense?</p> <p>I also plan to have #2 in the next 2-3 years. </p>
