I don't think it matters too much, really. I would either buy a bunch of cheap baby washcloths or cut up a yard of terry cloth from JoAnn's.

I have the thirsties ones and then a whole bunch of baby washcloths both work fine.

I really like my Thirsties ones: they're thick, have fun colors, and have two different fabric sides... that being said I also think the plain flannel ones we have work just fine!

I bought some thin ones from Etsy and thicker ones from Green Mountain Diapers. I like using thin for pee and thick for poop.

@anandam: I honestly don't think it matters that much. If you know anyone who sews, see if they'll make you some. Simple one or two layer flannel works the best, IMO.

I have several different kinds, and I think that my favorites are these - http://www.amazon.com/Terry-Flannel-Wipes-Pack-Unbleached/dp/B0083AO82K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1394066438&sr=8-2&keywords=osocozy+terry+flannel+wipes

I like them because they're thick but not too thick, have a scrubby side and a smooth side, and the layers don't come apart. I have ones that look the same but they're single ply and they're way too thin and not as effective. I also have really thick velour ones and expected to love them and they're kinda meh. I really dislike ones I got from GMD because even though they're double sided, they're smaller (not square) and they've dried weird, so the two layers have shrunken in different dimensions.

Which are your favorite wipes? Why?

My head is spinning after reading reviews on Amazon.
Please set me straight.
