@Teachermama: Agreed. I also much prefer a t-shirt to a onesie. And... he usually just wears a t-shirt + diaper or onesie + diaper.

I also like carters since they stretch a lot, I usually go 1 size up. Lately it's been much easier to do a tshirt & baby legs, instead of a onsie & pants.

I use gDiapers, and have the same amount of extra bulk with the gDiapers that I do with the disposables, but most of our clothes are Carter's with some Disney and Baby Gear and Gerber and then some random ones.

I also preferred Carter's for onesies and sleepers as they tended to be stretchier. My LO has such a tiny bum that she needs cloth to keep her pants up!

@MsMini: It gets better as they fill out the diapers more over time.

We use a mix of one size pockets (AMP, Fuzzibunz, Sunbabies, and LuxButt). I have some carters, and they fit pretty well, most of what we have from them are knit-style pants, which tend to work better.

We haven't really run into this issue with Carters or Oshkosh B'Gosh, which is mostly what my son wears. Also, the Old Navy jeans seem to work well for us (focus on the carpenter style with a wider leg, maybe?). What cloth diapers are you using?

I am sure others are having this issue, but with the cloth diapers there is not only a lot of extra junk in the trunk, also the diapers come down pretty far between the legs.

I have already pretty much determined that our LO won't be wearing jeans unless we are in disposables (we use sposies for travel). But am I missing something, is there a brand that works well for cloth diaperers?
