I usually do two parts water, one part vinegar because it can be harsh on your stomach. I'm 30 weeks, and my doctor approved Benadryl, Tylenol, Robitussin, or Sudafed. It got to the point where I couldn't breathe without them, so I took them. Honey and lemon for tea. Cool mist humidifier to help with dryness in the nose and lots of rest. Hang in there! I have literally tried everything listed above minus the apple cider vinegar. Nothing provided relief. I was coughing so hard my ribs were bruised and it hurt to just breathe. I was afraid the violent coughing was hurting the baby more than anything. I knew it was a allergy cough compounded with cold symptoms. So my OB approved robitussin DM + benadryl I had taken before. After four days my cough finally stopped. But then my daughter got sick and now I am coughing again. In total I have been coughing and sick for a month now. It's been lots of fun.
