@Pirouette: You'd think it would feel greasy but it doesn't. Once you wipe it off, your skin feels softer and more hydrated.

I have combo skin and I started doing the oil cleansing method. It's made a huge difference in my face. I use grapeseed oil that I found at Whole Foods. I just slather it on my face and massage it in for a minute and then remove it with a washcloth soaked in warm water. My skin feels really soft afterwards.

@Pirouette: I have combination skin (that is sensitive), and have been really liking the Innisfree foaming face wash I've been using - It's a huge size and only $10! http://www.innisfreeworld.com/product/productView.do?prdSeq=10205&eventSeq=0&catCd01=UA

@avivoca: I meant to follow up on your comment to see if you've had success with it - I'm so glad it's working out well for you!

@Bubbles: i'll look into it! i don't mind if it's pricey if it lasts a while.

I have tried tons of different face washes and moisturizers, and I used to suffer from acne in addition to having combination skin. I decided to try all natural cleansers with organic ingredients, and they seemed to really help. The ingredients are more gentle on my skin, which makes me think my skin is sensitive and probably why I was breaking out. I tried a lot of different brands, but I've settled on a brand from Australia. It's not much more expensive than the higher end American brands, but it does take a little while to receive my shipment. The brand is called Enkido. Ever since using that, my skin has looked really good and I rarely get a pimple.

I love Decleor Aroma Cleanse cleansing mousse - my skin is similar, prone to dryness and sensitivity, but also prone to breakouts if I use anything too greasy. This stuff is perfect and keeps my skin very happy. It's pretty pricey - I think the big bottle is about £30 but my last one lasted well over a year, so actually quite good value!

I am having luck with the korean cleansing oil that Mrs. High Heels talked about on the blog a couple of weeks ago! I follow it with Burt's Bee's Deep Cleansing cream face wash with soap bark, which I've used for years.

I use Caudelie foaming face wash, it's available at Sephora. I like it a lot, and it's on the more "natural" side as these things go (no parabens, phthalates, etc). It definitely has a feminine scent to it, though, so your DH might not like it. And it's not cheap.

My skin gets super dried out by a lot of face washes out there, and it is fairly sensitive. i've done really well with Bliss's fabulous foaming face wash over the past few years. However, sephora stopped selling it, and amazon used to offer a great deal on it and stopped, so it's harder to find and a bit expensive, especially since DH uses whatever i use so we go through it fast.

Any good recs that don't dry you out?
