She was happy because she already has a 5 year old son, so she's used to boys. Today she went to her doctors office at 20 weeks for her anatomy scan and...its a girl!! Of course, she's still thrilled, but its a bit of a shock!</p> <p>Apparently, her girl parts were really swollen at the 17 week ultrasound so they thought she was a boy. My best friend called the office and the owner had her come in right then. The owner was so distraught that she made the mistake that she was almost in tears. My friend was really understanding though and now she's got a free 3D/4D session to use later, plus a refund of her earlier ultrasound.</p> <p>Since my best friend's husband is DH's cousin, we're (kinda) family! I couldn't be more thrilled, even though I've been calling her a him for 3 weeks now lol. Super excited about the little girl though :) I don't have any nieces/nephews yet, so I can't wait to spoil her! </p>
