<description>&#60;p&#62;I need some advice for a gate for the top of our staircase in our split level home.  I would like something that is easy to open, since I am usually a carrying car seat, diaper bag, purse, ect and won't have anywhere to set it down.  I'm thinking something semi-permanent so we aren't dealing with putting up and down each time we leave/get home.  Help :)
