I have been very happy with my Armadillo Flip XT. It's a lightweight full size stroller. The seat is reversible and can be used from birth without a car seat.

@Aria: @pachamama: I also have a Zoë stroller. Am I missing some trick to get it to stay upright when it is folded? That's my big gripe with it-- it falls down.

Another vote for the G-luxe. I did a lot of baby wearing and then would push my toddler in the G-luxe. Now, the baby sits in the G-luxe and the toddler walks!

We got the nano last summer before S was born and I'm a huge fan. We traveled with it via air and I've used it with our infant seat after S was born and just as a regular stroller. Love it!

Love my contours bliss for a full size but light and my valcobaby snap duo for a double. Had I been able to test the single version (snap ultra I think?) I would have gotten that over the bliss for a slightly smoother ride than the bliss (judging by how my duo rides). Love the g-luxe if you want an umbrella stroller.

I have the MB Mini at 16.8 lbs. It folds up super simply and is small enough to fit in the trunk of my compact Scion XD. It is super maneuverable, and the front wheel will lock into position if needed. You can get the carrycot for it which will provide a bunch of different positions, and the MB scooter can be attached.

I love my Bumbleride Flyer! It folds nicely and you can switch the orientation to have baby facing you or facing away. It has been discontinued but you might be able to find them used. I bought mine two years ago on a mommy swap in excellent condition.

I started reading this thread knowing we needed to buy a travel stroller and started to do some research. I decided that mountain buggy nano checked the most boxes on my list. If you decide similarly, it is $100 less at Walmart than Amazon. Just a heads up, I obviously have not tried the stroller yet

I'd recommend getting an umbrella stroller. It's really all I ever need, even with two kids. Most are light weight and compact. I have a 4 year old UB gluxe that's still going strong. Easy to carry up and down the stairs (strap) and stands up by itself. We've traveled a lot with it, and I have no complaints.

I've had 3 that could be considered light weight. We have a maclaren mark 2, which weighs pretty much nothing (7 lbs) and is definitely an umbrella stroller, but great for travel and on nice flat surfaces. Our normal everyday stroller is a city mini GT, which is 21 lbs, and great on uneven sidewalks. We used to have a regular city mini, which I think was 17 lbs, and almost perfect but I just wanted better wheels for the times when it snows around here (the city mini gets stuck in the snow, the gt is pretty good in a couple inches). None of these can face inwards though. The city minis can technically have a glider board attached but it gets pretty bad reviews so I haven't tried it.

We have #2 coming soon and I'm considering getting a joovy caboose ultralight, although I'm assuming I'm going to run into a problem with snowy days with this stroller as well.

I love our nano, I feel like it does better on bumps etc than the uppa baby umbrella stroller but certainly not as well as my city select. The fold is awesome and it has a very roomy basket for the size of the stroller and it's easily accessible. I also really appreciate that it's weighted well so I can hang my skip hop duo diaper bag on it without worry of it tipping over unless I have a lot of water in there (like it is only mildly tippy of I have a 22oz life factory water bottle AND a thermos fort my daughter.) I haven't looked into a buggy board but maybe one of the universal ones would work?

I really like my Mountain Buggy Nano- it's perfect for carrying up and down stairs because it folds up super small. And it's very light. You can also put an infant car seat in it with no adapters (it has a belt thing that you loop through the seatbelt path)- but it's not as quick and easy as a snap and go. The basket is fairly small but that's true of all light strollers. And reclines pretty far back though not flat.

Downside- it's definitely a travel stroller and wouldn't be great on bumpy surfaces like a full size stroller, and no option for a double or a buggy board. And the fold is quick and easy but requires too hands.

I just really love how small it folds- like the size of a briefcase.

Eta: you cannot turn the seat to face you, though with the infant car seat in it the baby would be facing you.

I don't have one of these, but I'm planning on purchasing the double version soon. I'm in a stroller group that absolutely raves about the Valco brand of strollers. They're pretty reasonably priced. This one is able to forward/reverse face and I *think* you can buy a ride on board attachment.

Recommend your favorite lightweight stroller!

We've used the jeep stroller for my son since he was born, but it's 30 lbs and SO big. Since living in an apartment it's just been really tough to use and store. So I'm looking into something else for my second baby.

What are your recommendations?
I would also really like the kind of seat you can face forward or backward, if possible.
Bonus if it'd include a seat or riding board for DS- but not a must!
