I had no idea when I was pregnant, but some rack stores (Burlington, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross) have great maternity sections.

I did a lot of consignment and goodwill shopping. And a made a lot of tweaks to my existing wardrobe to make it work.

For casual clothes I shopped solely at Macy's, but they have a bunch of Motherhood Maternity clothes and my favorite mat jeans are LED brand, which I found later online at A Pea in the Pod.

The dress for work I got from Burlington is from rabbit designs brand. It has a cool print, which is a nice departure from all of the solids in both my casual and work maternity wardrobe.

For work, I am rotating between two Isabella Oliver maternity dresses, Pea in the Pod dressy ankle slacks with a pre-mat sweater or a casual may top and swingy mat cardigan, and a non-maternity dress I picked up at Burlington. When I get home I'll post the brand. I don't see the same people daily/ weekly/ monthly, so that's all I have for work so far.

I typically don't wear stockings, but I have opaque tights and sheer black tights that can be worn with any if the dresses and that makes the dresses more comfortable since they support my tummy. I bought the sheer stockingsize at Target and opaque tights from Motherhood Maternity.

@Silva: I'm not totally sure. I always get confused- I am an 8, so when pregnant, do I order a 10? I did order a 10, and things are a bit big, but I wanted to have space to grow so they would last. Therefore, with deductive reasoning, I'd say true to size! Depending on how you like/want them to fit. I could totally have ordered 8s.

The first time I did target- super cheap clearance, just tshirts, a couple designer jeans (second hand), and then random thrift stuff someone sent to me! I spent hardly a dime. Not the most pleasant, however! Asos is my new place, I like the quality and look and things seem pretty comfy!

What is/was your go to store for maternity clothes? I have to dress business professional for work, so I needed dresses/skirts to wear 5x a week, plus needing casual clothes for nights and weekends clothing budget added up fast. I did a lot of my shopping at Motherhood because it was reasonably priced with coupons an sales, otherwise Target and Kohl's were good for basics.
