July / August = no friends around for birthday parties in the summer. Sept / Oct = likely to be the oldest or youngest in the class. Nov / Dec = holiday season, which is another birthday downer.</p> <p>ETA: I also get hot really easily when I'm not even pregnant, so I have a strong preference to NOT be in my second or especially third trimester in July or August! It's warm enough to be outdoors and most people haven't left for vacation yet (ppl normally take the whole of July off). The weather's warm, but not hot, the nights are cool, but not cold. The best part is it's not super dry like the winter months. </p> <p>But I was born in September and I loved it. My hometown doesn't really have seasons, so weather isn't an issue. I liked having a birthday near the start of school and the cut-off was a little later. I was always one of the youngest in class, but it never bothered me. </p> <p>If you ask DH, he'll say Feb. Didn't have to do much work to dress her (she was in a diaper and socks mostly), which made diaper changes really easy. When she fattened up it was winter and seemed so sturdy and ready for it. I'm nervous for a fall baby and all the colds going around and having to put so many clothes on a newborn. You can enjoy the summer with a baby that is a little older and able to be taken out. Our cut off date for school is December. </p>
