Thanks everyone! I'm researching all of the ones you mentioned! And I think I will just wait to invest since I would imagine they are going to get bigger (or to make sure they don't!)...

I am going to get a really good nursing tank and maybe a cheap one or two. I was thinking of getting one of these Mother Tucker nursing tanks - they're from the Belly Bandit peeps:
http://bellybandit.com/store/p-8-mother-tucker.aspx
I am actually watching a couple of used ones on Ebay...Anyone know anything about them?

I agree with Hilsy --- wait until the milk comes in --- have some good supportive nursing tanks for the meantime.

Pre preg I was a 34B, during pregnancy I was a 36Cish, and since the milk came in I am in a 38D!! It's crazy.... I went out and got a couple bras, but definitely like the tanks better when home.

I ordered 2 from Nordstrom that are by Cake Lingerie. I haven't actually worn them yet, but I've tried them on and they are well made and really cute. The reason why I haven't worn them out is I can't figure out what you do with the nursing pad! Do you wear nursing pads inside the cups that are more foam-like? I would imagine that you do, because otherwise the foam would get wet, but it seems like it's a lot of material to push down and out of the way while nursing?

And what is nice about the hotmilk bras is they are super adjustable. So even if your boob size goes down (which mine has hardly changed at 6 months pp) you can adjust the band.

OOk so I am exactly the same as you,, I was actually looking for push up nursing bras! Lol it sounds so vain but most of the bras I found were hideous. I started out with the cheapest nursing bra from target but it made my boobs look like triangles. And nursing tanks were okay, but disastrous for when it got cold. I never wanted to go out in public because I always felt so unattractive. Well to make a long story short, I ended getting an awesome hotmilk bra. I had to buy it online because there weren't retailers near me, but it is awesome and so cute. I would have gotten more if I found them earlier. I think the website is hotmilk.com

I would wait to get nice nursing bras until your supply regulates and you get breast feeding under control. Your boobs will be huge when your milk comes in (at least mine were) but then they go back down a bit. For right now, with LO 2 wks old, I'm just wearing cheap target ones, or just nursing tanks without bras. I don't love them as they're not really supportive. Once I feel like my bra size has stabilized, I'm going to go to a specialty store and get fitted for some nice ones. Also, right now I'm getting milk and nipple cream all over everything and wouldn't want to ruin anything nice.

I picked up a few nursing bras from Macy's and they're okay. Not super flattering. I've heard good things about Le Mystere nursing bras.

I'll preface this with my LO isn't here yet.

I bought a $20 nursing bra from Target that I'm already wearing and I love it. It's a basic white bra, but is comfy and provides plenty of support. I'm a hard size to find (42DD pre-preg) and it's only of the only ones Target has in that size, but I very much like it and can see myself getting more soon.

What are the best nursing bras? I'm looking for ones that are functional but still make the girls look good in clothes! I'm investing in these for the long term, so they need to be ones I can wear with "real clothes," not just around the house.

I like a bra that's supportive to wear in public...Like I'm not one of the people who is willing to wear a Coobie bra out. I like my boobs to look good, and Coobie-like tank bras only work for me for sleeping.

Any suggestions for well-rounded nursing bras?

ETA: I'm not particularly large busted- I was a 34C pre-preg and now I'm a 36D. I saw a blog post about nursing bras for large-busted ladies, but I think I'm pretty regularly-sized, and just want a bra that is functional and still makes everything look like it's supported and sitting where it's supposed to be...HIGH! Lol!
