We have most of our friends in that area and is equidistant from our families. We have a couple target areas in mind, and would like to either buy an older house and complete repairs before we move in, or build on a large chunk of land. We'd like to raise chickens for eggs and meat, as well as a cow for beef. Large gardens, a root cellar, and sugaring in the spring- big dreams!<br /> We want to wait at least two years, more likely three, between kids- so we'll hopefully have one getting ready to start kindergarten and a little one at home.<br /> I'm not sure what I"ll be doing professionally. That is kind of huge for me because I have been pretty focused on my career and education for the past 10 years. But I'm taking a break for at least a year when our baby is born, and I don't really know what direction I will head in after that. My degree is very flexible, and I have a lot of interests in the field. Its kind of nice to be a little directionless in that area right now- and also very, very scary. </p>
