I just buy Hue from Macy's. I think they are almost $40 but worth it because I refuse to wear thin leggings - I hate the jiggling so much!

I like the Hue leggings and you can get them for cheaper at Nordstrom Rack.....and if you don't have one near you, online! https://www.nordstromrack.com/shop/search?query=Hue

I love my leggings from express. They have a thick wide band that rides right on the waist so it helps hold more in. They aren't so thin either that if you have thicker legs they look stretched out.

Ditto Old Navy. I also like Uniqlo a lot but they're thinner.

The old navy jersey leggings.. they are more expensive then the regular leggings but they are so thick and nice with a wide waist band.

In my experience, fleece lined leggings are so itchy! I can't stand them.

I also greatly disliked targets leggings, major muffin too, didn't hold up well, and see through.

These are my all time favorite leggings: http://www.lucy.com/Perfect-Core-Capri-Legging/111815_SALE,default,pd.html?dwvar_111815__SALE_color=FOSSILSPACEDYESTRIPE#start=1

They go on sale all the time, get on their email list. I have two pairs of the croppied perfect core and one perfect core in longer length. The longer length are $108 normally and one time they went on sale for $20, so I snatched them up. They are thick enough to wear alone (they're designed as a workout leggings), not too hot or cold, so confortable, have a higher rise to hold everything in.

I even got blackbird hooked on them- she calls them magic pants cause they slim you so much haha

I like the fleece lined from Target, I buy a size up so I can wear them a little higher. And okay this is such a "mom" thing but I also like the Motherhood ones that have the panel, pull them up and it squeezes everything in...I may or may not have worn them last weekend....and I'm not pregnant. No muffin top and they come in fleece lined.

I purchased some fleece lined leggings on Jane last year and they have held up well enough. They are starting to look a bit worn, so I just wear them around the house now, but they are comfortable and warm and not bulky.

I really like Hue leggings, and find them on good sales at Bon-Ton and also even places like marshalls and TJ Maxx (although it’s totally hit or miss, as always, at TJs/Marhsalls). You can look for them on ebay too.

I've also bought leggings at H&M. You get what you expect - they are cheap, so don't expect them to hold up for long, but they are not see-through and they last a season or 2

ETA: Hue brand has a high rise / "no muffin top" style option too!

@Littlebit: I like the Lauren Conrad ones at Kohls

I got some fleece lined ones on steals - I imagine they are same ones Jane has - and they are so comfy!! I wore them a lot last winter around the house :silly:

I'm not a big legging wearer but I've recently purchased some cute fall tunics and am on the hunt for some leggings. I don't want them to be too thin and I don't want a muffin top...I also don't want to spend a fortune because I'm still not sure how much use they'll get. Any suggestions? Are my expectations too high?? :P

Help me out! Was looking at the fleece lined leggings on Jane but am not sure they'll hold up?
