I'll post pics later as examples. Honestly, I am thinking like this: I'd rather spend good money on tops that'll stretch and fit me now and after pregnancy. Many great brand name shirts and dresses for a fraction of the price. For new retail try Forever21 and H&amp;M, both have maternity lines. I have seen some cute embellished maternity tshirts from Old Navy and Gap on ebay - not sure why they don't exist in stores any more. I wear a lot of maxi dresses on the weekend. Pants have not appealed to me...I've only bought one pair of navy maternity leggings that I love, but they're not that dressy. In my previous non-pregnant life, I LOVE designer jeans. I can still wear my jeans with a band, but they're not comfortable (tight and don't look as good!). I cannot stand anything touching me or being tight! </p> <p>But I've missed having the option to wear pants other than the leggings (and DH thinks they are yoga pants, he doesn't understand that people wear leggings in real-life, non-yoga circumstances...I wore them out to dinner with a tunic and he said, "You're wearing your yoga pants?") Sigh.</p> <p>So today, I purchased a pair of fancy maternity jeans from A Pea in the Pod. The AG ones that everyone raves about because they're so comfy (and LORDY they are!). I think it's ok to splurge on one or two basics, but I really need to buy some nice going-out-to-dinner tops to go with them...Fun ones, maybe that are a little sexy! I see nice basics at Gap and Old Navy maternity, but where do I get FUN stuff? </p> <p>I saw a couple of fun tops at A Pea In The Pod but they were as $$$ as my jeans! For one shirt! </p> <p>What's a girl to do? Any suggestions? </p>
