It felt like it was one less step in the learning process. I have no idea how it will work, but it makes a flush sound when you push on the handle, and it has a sensor so it sings and claps for them immediately when anything wet hits the bowl. It is apparently easy to travel with. It's always there. I liked the function so much, I bought a second one and brought it to my parent's house, where my son spends a lot of time.
