Good opportunity to work on it over the long weekend. Just take the diapers away, no going back! We loosely followed the three day method. Kept him home bottomless for 2-3 days and afterward no bottoms at all unless we left the house and then just loose pants or shorts. We gave chocolate chips for pooping on the potty because that's what motivated him most. We experienced a few accidents but not too many. The most important thing is to not go back to the diapers no matter what.

So we found out today that our 3.5 year old boy is the only child in his class that is not potty trained so it's time to get serious about this potty training business.

Please share your successes with me because honestly the kid could care less about sitting in a dirty diaper!
