We've got some darker skin ethnicities playing in effect but we put California Babies on about 30 minutes ( getting ready/car ride) before we go to the beach or water park. We stay out less than an hour. My general rule is if she will be playing outside, especially near water, more than 20 mins, then we put sunscreen on.

We use Adorable Baby by Loving Naturals. We apply it before going outside for any length of time.

We use Think Baby or California Baby, and we reapply every couple of hours or when she's been in the water or sweating and we use it for our fair daughter and darker daughter each day (even in winter).

What is evyone's sunscreen routine? We always out it in my (very very pale) 9.5 month old if we know we'll be outside in sunlight (water babies or California babies)... But I'm trying to get into a habit of putting it in him regularly... Like I do with my SPF 15 facial moisturizer. Do you always put sunscreen on your LO? What products are your favorites?
