I have the mayo clinic book, and really like it. I'm still looking for other books, so any suggestions would be great!

If you plan on breastfeeding "Breastfeeding Made Simple" is an awesome read that I took up when I started hearing how HARD breastfeeding is. I hope to be able to do it successfully, because I am really cheap ;) I haven't been able to apply my newfound knowledge, yet, so I can't evaluate it on that end, but it is both informative and empowering.

I also second Ina May Gaskin for anything.

Loved Baby Bargains! I got that in a Kindle edition so I could reference it on the go!

If you plan to breastfeed, anything by Ina May Gaskin.

Be Prepared is really more funny than informational. (I think it's a good gift to get a guy when his wife is pregnant, but more for fun than to actually learn anything.) I bought my husband The Expectant Father and he never read it.

I really liked the Mayo Clinic guide to pregnancy, and everyone always seems to love Happiest Baby on the Block (although I didn't have a lot of success with it- my daughter never took a pacifier and hated swaddling.)

Thanks, MrsJazz!

I was thinking about ix-naying the Pregnancy/Month-by-month book and getting the Mayo Clinic Pregnancy book instead.

I don't plan on getting any of the "What to Expect..." books because I've heard they're all pretty crappy.

Natural Hospital Birth is a great book! I highly recommend getting this book if that's the route you are looking at for your delivery.

I currently have 7 books in my Amazon shopping cart, but was hoping that you ladies had some advice about your favorite baby books.
