I second the birth partner. We both read it and it's really informative without being too dense.

I picked up The Birth Partner at Goodwill one day and DH and I have both read it. This comment might not be very helpful because we are still ttc so we haven't been able to use anything that we learned yet. But we liked it and he plans to read it again once we do conceive. I like that she included stories from real dads in the chapters talking about how amazing it was to see their wives/partners working through their labors and giving birth.

So, I got DH to agree to read a book to prepare him for being my birth partner. I really want a natural birth and right now, he is less than enthused and doesn't understand why. I really would like some recommendations on a good book I can get him to read so that he understands how birth works and what he can do to help/support me.

I've heard The Birth Partner is a really good one. Any reviews? Suggestions?
