If I had waited and really watched sales but we didn't have a ton of time and I just wanted to be done. </p> <p>But I wanted to say we got it for the exact same reasons as you. I don't love it but I feel like it was the best fit for our car. We have an older Acura with no latch so fitting front to back and the shoulder belt lock offs were the main things. I hate to say it but it's still a b*tch to install, but once it's in it's good. And c seems really comfortable in it. I don't think anything else would be easier or fit better. I know some people don't like it, but it fits in our Honda Civic and it has shoulder belt lock-offs (there's no LATCH in the center position on our car). Anyway, Amazon is having a 20% off sale on a bunch of baby gear (code WHATADEAL) and I'm wondering if I'm likely to find a better price if I can wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I don't *think* she'll hit the height limit before then but there's a small chance she could and I'd have to buy sooner so I'm inclined not to put it off...but every penny counts! Any thoughts? </p>
