I just tried on the 18 month carters and the waist was good, the leg length was pretty good (a bit long), but the width of the leg was pretty big! It's not so bad, so I think I might keep a few pairs, but would definitely still look for more! I sometimes wish we did cloth, I think it would make his clothes fit better! Carter's 12 month shorts actually fit pretty good. 18 month looks a little baggy on him but hopefully he'll grow into them a bit more by the end of summer. I am on the hunt for some good shorts for him. He is 18 months old, tall and skinny. However, most of his height is in his torso--his legs are kind of short. So most shorts seems to hit too far down on the leg for him. I"m looking for shorts that hit right above the kneecap and have a slimmer fit. I"ve tried Old Navy 12-18 months and they're too long and a bit too big in the waist...Gap same thing. Thanks! :) </p>
