Soak in a generous amount of oxyclean in a basin of hot water for a few hours. Then wash on hot or warm, and you can apply laundry detergent directly to the stain and throw more oxy in the machine for good measure!!

I've been amazing by a combo of hydrogen peroxide and blue dawn dish soap. Just mix it up in a little bottle and spray it as needed. In a pinch, I've used vinegar instead of hydrogen peroxide and haven't seen any loss in effectiveness.

It's worked on skittles stains on a white shirt and avocado stains on cream (even after being washed and dried, grrr).

Getting the item in the washer asap, soak and pre wash cycle then washing with detergent plus Nelly's Oxygen Brightener is what works for me.

Guys I'm in a dire emergency...what do you use to get rid of the toughest stains? Think chocolate ice cream on a light colored outfit....
