I have used the oxi clean spray bit there have still been stains that didn't come out. UNTIL I got the oxi clean foaming stuff. It gets out everything! I think it's much better than the gel spray.

Yup, another vote for oxyclean spray. I try to spray it on immediately. Sometimes after washing there is still a stain and I will treat it again and wash and that usually does the trick. Love oxyclean spray!

I've been using spray and wash/resolve for years, and it's always worked well. My husband kept insisting that oxyclean spray was better, so I finally tried it. It is amazing. A good long soak in it got out some stubborn stains from hand me down clothes that spray and wash didn't touch.

I soak in oxyclean powder and really hot water. If the stain is awful, I'll also either make an oxy paste and put it directly on the stain before washing, or pour some extra liquid laundry detergent on it right before washing. I actually NEVER scrub, but I'll run the fabric (with a stain remover rubbed into it) right under a faucet to try to wash the stain through the fibers.

At the recommendation of a few people here, I got the Oxyclean stain remover spray. Its been pretty good. I spray it on DD's clothes the day I take it off her, and just throw it in the hamper until laundry day. I've put the blue dawn on greasy stains, and thats been great also!

What's your favorite, most effective stain remover for clothes? A bunch of DS's clothes are still stained after using the Oxyclean gel stick. Any suggestions?
