I bought a size up for my DS and he got two full years of wear out of them (but his feet seem to grow very slowly) and they are still in good enough shape to pass on to DD. As for rain coats and rain pants, H&amp;M sells rain suits that are decent. They are made out of all one piece of rubber so there are no seams where they can fall apart or leak in water. I'm guessing this means I shouldn't cheap out on rain gear. What are your favorite brands for boots and jackets? </p>
