@dolphin: we have this music table too!

LO has been using this table since 6 months. At 10 months it's one of her fav toys. She loves pulling up and standing now but at 6 months we just kept the legs off.

She has always loved these balls. They were great when she was learning how to crawl but before that she loved picking them up, shaking and banging together. Now she likes putting them in and taking them out of boxes and bowls.

Other toys she liked starting around that age were stacking cups, tambourine and musical shakers.

This one is great. They have it at our children's museum and LO was hooked from the moment she saw it (you'll probably have to pop them up for her at first). The best part is it doesn't require batteries and doesn't sing/make noise!

We bought a small pool to put on our patio for our 6 month old, threw in a few toys, and he LOVES it. He spends his fussy period in there during the afternoon and it works like a charm. He loves splashing and chasing the toys around. Don't know if it's an option, but it's worked great for us so far!

We got C her music table at 8 months and she was really into it. You can set it right on the floor instead of using the legs for a smaller baby who cant stand yet.

I think DD is getting bored with the toys we have right now. We've basically got the Skip Hop treetop friends play gym, a few different O-Balls, a stacking owl (she can't put it back together yet but demolishing it is fun), and various rattles and teethers and stuffed animals. She also likes to play with her board books, picking them up and turning pages. But I feel like she's been getting frustrated lately and I want to get her some new, developmentally appropriate toys. I just feel like when I go to the store, the toys for her age range either look boring or too close to what we already have.

They have this at daycare and she LOVES it, so I'm going to get one for home: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008MTYTWQ/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I think this is technically still too old for her, but she'll probably like it anyway: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0001NEAB6/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_1?colid=1PH3KE9ZISZ5G&coliid=I18WWQQV9H1GX6

Does anyone have more suggestions? What did your LOs love at 6/7 months old? Toys she can grow into are fine, we just need to get some more variety here!
