@nana87: hello! I tell anyone about how great the maclarens are :silly: we took our maclaren techno XT to nyc and it was perfect...our LO was a tall 2.5yo but it reclines flat (as well as 5 point recline positions) & has an extendable footrest so he slept like a champ on the go. Only downside was that it was quite long and not lightweight. But it makes up for it in what looks like comfort!

Uppababy is releasing the Minu next month which is their response to the nano. Not sure if it will be in time for your trip, Magic Beans has a good post with information on it.

@nana87: I would for occasional use t would be fine for a small four year old then! I live how easy it is to just keep in my car since it takes up hardly any room. Also note that while the fold is easy it does require two hands.

@Foodnerd81: that’s one of the ones I was thinking about! My almost-4yo is a peanut (she’s still just 33 lbs) but we should take her with us when we check it out to make sure she’d be comfy, thanks!

We have a mountain buggy nano and I love how small it folds. You can easily carry on to a plane. Sun shade is ok and it reclines. But I think it would be getting pretty small for my 4.5 year old (I haven’t it in a while though). I know there are newer tiny ones out there but I’m not familiar with them all.

Our g-luxe is dying after about 4 years of hard use and we are thinking about getting a new umbrella stroller! We liked the g-luxe but it seems like there are all these new options that fold down teeny tiny and are even lighter and easier to travel with— I’d love some thoughts on any of those!

We’re traveling to Italy next month so would want it by then. We also use the travel one for our 4 year old when we’re taking her to and from classes etc by herself. We also have a 1 year old who would use it eventually, we usually use a Cruz for just her or if we’re taking both girls, we have a g-link (we like uppababy haha).

It seems silly to have 3 strollers in an nyc apartment but they all seem necessary 🤷‍♀️
