I cannot imagine having anything else! But I hate busting it out on a daily basis, so we have the Roomba to do daily maintenance. I just don't know how long it'll last as Bodie (our dog) continuously sheds year round and the vacuum has already been through the ringer and how many times we would have to take it in - would it just be cheaper to get another one I'm not sure - I'll have to price check. We had a non-dyson before and it sucked. Haha or rather I should say it did not 'suck' dog hair. ;)</p> <p>I have the regular yellow dyson and not the animal hair one. I think the animal hair one was just too expensive for us. We'll see how long our current dyson lasts. Maybe if I have to replace my dyson, I'll get the animal hair one. </p> <p>Oh, would you consider sending it off to dyson to see if they could fix it? We bought a Shark Rotator and it's been great! Even though it's not working 100% it still does a great job on all our dog hair. I'm not opposed to getting another Dyson (the one designed specifically for animal hair) but I would like to know if there are any cheaper and better options out there! TY :) </p>
